23rd January 2007 - Chaos Win in Chelmsford
Chaos chalked up their second straight win of the year in Chelmsford by beating the Chelmsford Chargers 8-4 in their own rink. A hatrick a piece for Butler and Hilder with goals coming from Nurden and Lennox saw the boys head into the weeks back to back games against the RAF with confidence.

Coach Lee Hubball said..."Our away trip to Chelmsford was our chance to put into practice nearly a year of restructuring and retraining. Towards the start of last year the team reached an all time low and I made the decision to cancel all games until we could perform in a professional way. A big part of the problem was that I needed retraining and at that time felt the team would benefit from a new guy at the helm. While I was searching for a suitable coach I went back to basics and installed a new regime of discipline and also sought advise from many other coaches. To my surprise things quickly changed, training was enjoyable and the feedback from the guys was very positive. The committee asked me to carry on with the new training system and the new team was formed. We even now have two Canadians on the books, one of which could easily play at a high league level but chooses to play for us. Our 1st period at Chelmsford was a shear pleasure to watch, apart from some questionable refereeing in the 2nd things just looked fantastic all the way through and we won 8-4. I would like to say something that I haven't for quite a while and that's how very proud I am of all the team. A big thanks to everyone who works hard in the back ground to make theses games possible.

Chaos superstar Tom Hooper has finally made the leap into league hockey and signed for the Oxford City Stars of the ENIHL.

Chaos owner Lee Hubball said "We would like to take the opportunity to wish Tom all the best in his future career. Tom started playing for us 5 years ago when we formed and has always shone as an excellent ice hockey player. I have watched him improve and admired his drive and ability.

Tom has made many sacrifices and has always put ice hockey first above all else. His attitude is awesome, his ability is outstanding and more than anything else he is a superb guy.

We are all very proud of Tom and wish him well in his new career in league ice hockey with the Oxford City Stars. Our loss is there gain"
